FLORIDA — At a reception hosted last month by U.S. Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney at the SUNY Orange campus in Newburgh, two graduating seniors from S.S. Seward Institute in the Villlage of Florida were honored with service academy appointments.

Alyssa Kamrowski, daughter of Jeff and Dina Kamrowski, received Congressional letters of recommendation to both the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Beau Ressa, son of John and Dawn Ressa, also received a Congressional letter of recommendation to attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Both seniors are in the top five percent of their graduating class.
