FLORIDA — On Wednesday, July 10, local elected officials and board members of the Village of Florida Chambers of Commerce joined owner Andrea Muster and her family to celebrate the grand opening of Worth Buying Home Décor.

The new business, located at 2 North Main St. in the Village of Florida, features up-scale previously owned furniture, lighting, artwork, home accessories and antiques at prices as much as 80 per cent below original retail. Many of the items are sold to designers.

“When buying furniture, there’s no need to re-mortgage your home,” said Muster, who personally selects items that she considers well worth the price from high-end hotels and the like. The inventory changes frequently and is complimented by Muster’s own live plant creations.

Muster lives in Warwick with her husband, John, and their four children, ages nine to adult.

She is also the owner of Easy Occasions, an event planning business where, she stated, her commitment to details is only surpassed by her creativity and professionalism.

Among the services offered by Easy Occasions are children’s parties where her equestrian theme events are among the most favored.

“It has long been my goal to make these products and services available to everyone, not just the wealthy” said Muster.

Prior to moving to Warwick, Muster served as senior event planner for the Metronome Hospitality Group in New York City. Under her management were high profile events such as the ABC Daytime Emmy Awards, New York Film Critics Award. Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, NYFCC awards, Red carpet Broadway events, Encore for Hope and numerous weddings and bar mitzvahs.

Worth Buying Home Décor closes daily at 4 p.m. but customers can arrange for an appointment at other times by calling 917-741-3242. For additional information call 508-6157.
