Ballet boot camp at M'Lanie Hunter Dance

CHESTER —Join Orange County native and professional dancer Philip Martin-Nielson for a ballet boot-camp on Monday, Feb. 6, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at M'Lanie Hunter Dance in Chester.
Guest artist Martin-Nielson began his training in Cornwall at age 6 and started working privately with Natasha Bar. Under Bar's guidance and coaching, he went on to compete at numerous ballet competitions and won the gold medal at Youth America Grand Prix in 2009.
Martin-Nielson has attended summer intensives at the School of American Ballet, Harid Conservatory, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Studio Maestro, Kozlov Dance International and Chautauqua Dance Program. At age 15, he studied at the School of American Ballet, the official school of the New York City Ballet, where he would finish his training.
In September 2012, Martin-Nielson joined Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo as a professional dancer where he continues to tour the world.
If you goThis special workshop will consist of a full Russian technique ballet class with corrections and tips for technique. This master class is available to all dancers at or above an intermediate level. The cost is $25 per student and will be an RSVP only event.
